Project Outcomes & Indicators
Project Nicaragua is committed to fair and economical initiatives. The focus of the project is to provide people in underdeveloped areas with accessible and sustainable technology that allows them to improve their quality of life. It is a multi-faceted project that assists local people, delivers training and establishes micro-entrepreneurs.
Informing people is also a primary goal of the project. Project Nicaragua strives to inform people, not only in Nicaragua, but in Canada as well, on water issues and the importance of proper sanitation and health. Last year, Project Nicaragua held a Water Awareness Campaign at the University of Calgary and the message was heard all over the University of Calgary Campus and beyond.
